Contrast and Compare

Out of the two drawings we have done so far, i dont know if i have a favorite. They both are starting to look developed and i like little parts of each of them. I got more into the bike drawing faster, and it came a little more naturally to me then the colors. However, the colors give me a challenge an is a lot of fun to mix and match. The styles and number of color conbinations is unimaginable. I might like the candy drawing if it turns out the way it should, but i wont know until I am done! Some of the challenges i will face is what to do about labels and names and crinkles nothings. And maybe i will draw some, maybe i will make up some, but my drawing will end up being what i want it to be. Hopefully real looking and unique. This has been a lot of fun working on these projects so far this year and i hope we continue to have this much fun.

Candy candy candy!

I'm going to be honest, it took me almost two weeks to finally be able to start this drawing. I was so stressed by all the color choices and thought i had already been at my max with the bike. Therefore, i finally started, i worked hard at the lid and am finally starting to work at the candy inside. I like to make it as real as possible so i am trying my best and worked hard! These colors work in so many different ways and the blending is uncountable! It started to be a lot of fun and now i dont hold off coloring anymore! I just jump right in! I finally finished and I love it.

Easy as riding a bike

The work on my bike drawing was hard in the beginning. I don't have much experience in shading but as i got working it was exciting to see my work come to life.  I got to experiment and change my drawing several times before i started the small details that made it look real.  I did not know of the different pencils and shading techniques that thoroughly change the outcome of my picture.  I love how it came out and I hope everyone else does to!
